North Mull Parish brings together the congregations of Craignure, Dervaig, Salen and Tobermory as one Church of Scotland parish. Though our communities are spread across the island’s roads, hills and coastlines, we worship and work together as one family of faith. Each church has its own character and history, yet all share the same commitment to welcoming residents and visitors alike, supporting our local communities, and honouring God in all we do. From weekly worship to pastoral care and community outreach, our aim is to reflect Christ’s love across North Mull and be a steady presence for all who live here or travel through.
Our Churches
Whilst they may appear to be widely separated by country roads and beautiful scenery, these communities and buildings are all part of one Church of Scotland parish, one body of faith and fellowship. Each church has a different character, particularly architecturally, but their congregations are equally welcoming whether you live on Mull or are a visitor.

What’s On
From mid-week coffees to Messy Church there is lots happening around our Parish. To see what happens regularly in each place each week click on the links for our different churches and to keep up to date with what’s happening follow our Facebook page below.
Messy Church
This takes place monthly in Tobermory Church and Salen & Ulva Church, this is a time for families to come together and explore faith through craft, story and song and finishes with a simple meal together.
Church in The Wild
We also like to use the wonderful environment surrounding us on North Mull and regularly hold opportunities for worship and fellowship outdoors, with our outdoor celebrations on Ulva at Easter and Harvest and we are growing Walking Church and Forest Church. Sundown
Sundown service is our monthly evening service at Torosay Church in Craignure. Worship is more relaxed, participative and contemporary. If traditional Sunday morning isn’t your thing, try this!

Our Minister
Our Minister is Rev Amanda MacQuarrie. Amanda was ordained in 2014 and followed a call to Mull to be minister of the linked charges of Iona & The Ross of Mull linked with North Mull in 2024. If you’d like to contact her then please get in touch using the contact us section below.
